Our mission is to test whether coordinated robotics can extend useful emergency-response capability toward a patient during the gap between dispatch and professional responder arrival.
01 THE FOUNDER’S STARTING POINT
A question at the intersection of care and engineering.
Nandish Panchal began programming at eight. His interest in software and engineering developed alongside BLS training, hospital volunteering, cardiology shadowing and allied-health studies.
Those experiences focused his attention on the minutes before professional help arrives: how could useful response capability move toward a patient during that interval?
MARDE is the system he and the team are developing to explore that question—through coordinated Air, Ground, Nexus and Modules, with human oversight from the start.

Distance is one challenge. Final access, equipment availability, operator context and handoff each matter. We’re designing MARDE as an integrated platform because those challenges are connected.
